Garra Rufa Fish Spa Pedicures

The practice of using garra rufa fish to heal skin suffering from afflictions such as psoriasis dates back over 400 years to southern Turkish river basins... and Perfection Beauty were very excited to be the first salon in Warwickshire to offer this amazing treatment to our clients!

Often referred to as "doctor fish", the therapeutic nibbling of the fish is said to have skin healing properties as well as leaving the skin silky smooth. These tiny toothless carp, native to the Middle East, secrete an enzyme in their saliva - diathonol - known to improve skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema.

However you don't need to suffer with one of these conditions to enjoy the fish; anyone with hard, dead skin on the feet will benefit from a session, noticing a difference after just one session, but over the course of a few sessions will really notice the difference!

And it's not just for the ladies. Men are also welcome - in fact, a garra rufa treatment can make the ideal gift for that hard-to-buy-for man in your life!

We have over 200 fish housed in our tank which features a comfortable double seat... allowing you the option to come along by yourself for a bit of 'me' time, or to come with a friend and enjoy a bit of quiet time together!

The fish reside in a dedicated room towards the rear of the salon. Sessions may be booked for 15 or 30 minutes, costing £10 per 15 minutes.

Feet should be clean and free of nail polish before your appointment, but feel free to book treatments such as pedicure or file and polish after your session to give your feet maximum pampering!
