Hot Stone Masasge is based upon an ancient variation on classic massage, using smooth, heated stones which are placed on the body to relax muscles, stimulate circulation and calm the nervous system.
The treatment differs from the traditional massage in that it does not use deep pressure, instead using the heat of the stones to penetrate the areas which need attention. Wet stones are heated to the required temperature before being placed on key areas of the body by a trained therapist.
